In October 2025, we decided to purchase the Test Expert device from Wegamed after reading several claims about its capabilities. The company promoted the system as a highly advanced diagnostic tool able to analyze up to 6,000 different items in the human body. That level of detail was one of the main reasons we chose this device over competing products.
Once the unit arrived and was installed, we took the time to explore the software and the data it relied on. Very quickly, we noticed a discrepancy. The Excel database supplied with the system contained only 5,300 items, not the 6,000 that had been repeatedly highlighted in the marketing materials.
This was disappointing, because the advertised range was a key part of our decision-making process. While the device itself functions, discovering that the actual database falls short by several hundred items raises questions about how accurately the product was presented. For users who rely on detailed and comprehensive data, this gap is significant.
Overall, the Test Expert may still offer value, but the difference between what was promised and what was delivered should be clearly communicated. Transparency matters, and potential buyers deserve to know exactly what they are paying for.
