In October 2025, after reviewing numerous statements about the capabilities of the Wegamed Test Expert system, we decided to purchase the device. The manufacturer repeatedly emphasized that the unit could evaluate up to 6,000 different parameters in the human body — a level of detail that strongly influenced our choice and set it apart from other available options.
After the device was delivered and set up, we began examining the software and the data it uses. It didn’t take long before we noticed a mismatch between the promotional claims and the actual contents of the system. The Excel database included with the Test Expert contained approximately 5,300 items, not the 6,000 that had been highlighted so prominently in the marketing materials.
This discovery was disappointing, because the advertised quantity of analyzable items had played a major role in our purchasing decision. Although the device itself functions, the fact that the internal database is missing several hundred entries raises concerns about how the product was presented. For users who depend on comprehensive datasets, that difference is not trivial.
The Test Expert can still be useful, but the gap between the advertised specifications and the real contents should be communicated honestly. Transparency is important, and customers deserve a clear understanding of what they are actually getting.
